It's the 3rd inning now, Cubs leading 2-0.

Dempster loaded the bases with 2 outs in the 3rd inning but struck out Ethier, leaving the Dodgers scoreless.

The Cubs have left too many guys on base and haven't been able to get out of jams when they had the chance.

See how Piniella's history as a playoff manager stands up:

1990 Reds - World Champions
1995 M's - lost to Indians in ALCS
1997 M's - lost to O's in ALDS
2001 M's (116 wins season) - lost to Yankees in the ALCS
2007 Cubbies - lost to DBacks in 3 games xsmhx

Let's hope that this streak will be broken if we win the next 3 games.

And so it begin's again for the teasing, happless, Cub's. xlolx
Another 100 year's of "Next Year".

MannyWood and Joe "Hollywood" Torrie in a 1 year turnaround. xlmaox
Bet the Yankee's are feeling like real dumbarses right about now after forcing Joe out instead of admitting $200,000,000 pay roles and "superstar's" at every position don't mean automatic wins. xlolx

Probably. True. xbawlingx

Can a Seattle/Oklahoma City-like solution be feasible for the Cubs? Only time will tell.

Are the fans constantly booing? I keep hearing a constant hum or something through my tv speakers.

I was about to say the same thing...it seems like they've been booing ever since Zambrano went out

The Cubs are trying to make some noise in the bottom of the 9th.
It's now 10-3, Cubs have runners on 1st and 2nd, no outs.

Sigh.

This is depressing.

This is the first year I didn't expect them to lose in the first round, and that's exactly what they're going to do.

I *****ing love that the Cubs fans have to eat another ***** sandwich!!!

I hope Cubs fans stay exactly where they are right now for the rest of my life.

I actually kind of like this Cubs team but I just want their fans in misery more. I guess all the new Cubs gear was a waste of money.

GOD I hate the Dodgers.

This isn't smack, but did you SERIOUSLY think they would do something? It's the scrubs. Murphy's Law applies. They will choke everytime they are in the playoffs.

It isn't booing, it's the sound that comes out of one when they realize "wait til next year" is still in effect.

b/c it's the scrubs. They are notorious chokers. They had a bunch of young kids who played well in the regular season, and then when the spotlight is its brightest, their a$$holes pucker up.
