Pretty self-explanatory thread and poll, I think

AL East-Tampa Bay Rays
AL Central-Chicago White Sox
AL West-Los Angeles Angels
AL Wild Card-Boston Red Sox

NL East-Philadelphia Phillies
NL Central-Chicago Cubs
NL West-Los Angeles Dodgers
NL Wild Card-Milwaukee Brewers

What the heck, I'll say the Rays continue the magic.

It's Raytober!!!

I'd like to see either the Rays or the Brewers, but I definitely do NOT want to see the Cubs win it.

I'm fine with the Angels, so I think either them or the Rays will win it.

I'd like to see the Red Sox - Cubs World Series.

Last time they met in post season was 1918. The Babe was the ace for the Bosox, picking up two wins to clinch the World Series.

You know, I really prefer their "alternative" home uniform that they wear for day games. The pinstripes are getting kind of tired... they also make me think of those old AFL referees.

I'm guessing the Cubs. No good reason, just hoping they can finally win one.

If not the Cubs, one of the other Great Lakes teams.

I will be rooting hard for the Phillies to make an October run and take the series. xnodx

However, I don't feel that the starting pitching will hold together enough to be a realistic choice. So I'll go with my "other" team and pick the Rays to win the whole shootin' match.

You're right, and I guess I can't use 19-0 to describe any NFL teams.

I'm really liking the Angels right now...they've got great pitching, a solid lineup, they play good defense and they've got a real baseball mind in Scioscia at the helm (I personally think catchers make the best managers in the majors). Plus, the Angels have owned Boston all season...although back in July.
