Ridiculous. Raiders starting to put something together with two close loses in two weeks against pretty good teams and now bye-bye to all the continuity.
Al Davis is an idiot.

Al Davis was once a brilliant football mind. Now he is either senile, crazy or both. Bring back Art Shell.

Al Davis is the poster child for the Kevorkian Plan.....sorry, that's harsh, but can anyone put him out to pasture?

Did anyone see the Al Davis press conference? Al Davis is a complete whack job. He spent half the time trying prove that Chris Mortensen is a professional lier and Lane Kiffin was in the middle of a conspiracy. It was absolutely mind boggling to listen to it, i've never seen a press conference like it. I used to be a Raiders fan and still am at heart but i can't pull for a team that is run by a complete loon. Until Al Davis is in the ground or in a home somewhere this organization has no hope.

In all honesty, he should have been fired at halftime of the last game

Lane Kiffin = promising young coach...ala Gruden, ala Shanahan. Look for Kiffin as OC to help take Kansas City to the Super Bowl within 5 years...beating the Raiders badly to get there...unless of course Al Davis gets out of the way xlolx xlolx xlolx xlolx xlolx xlolx xlolx

"Sorry Lane, you stood up to me and it looked like you were gonna prove yourself right with more wins this season...you GOTTA GO!"
I'm a Raider fan...and I'll say it:
HEY AL, GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!

I watched the press conference this morning and WOW. AL sure looks bad. The years haven't been good to him, kind of like how he hasn't been good to his football team the past few.

It looks like he has been locked in a Vegas Casino for 5 years straight...though he is almost 80 now...I hope to be in the thick of it at that age, just, you know, not running an Oakland franchise.

Listened to Lane's interview with Tim Ryan and Pat Kirwan on Sirius. He took the high road and said he wouldn't stoop to Al's level. Said he was dissapointed and hurt. Looking for a college job now along with doing his wife's honey-do list. :)
