It was 13-10 but I think that was us not them. It was 14-10 @ Elon, 21-7 vs Towson. We take a while to build up momentum and have trouble against teams that start on all cylinders (like ASU). But about Maine, their offense seems to use a lot of deception which works less and less as the game goes on.

Well even though Hofstra only beat 'lowly Stony Brook', you have to think that they're excited to play a tough team and earn some respect. Thing is, I think JMU wants to play a complete game for a change, not pack all the action in the 2nd half, I'm sure. If Hofstra can circumvent the special teams the way Maine did (but not mess up on the onside kick) it could take some of the air out, but I think with two straight weeks of bad field position for prolonged periods of time, even that might not be enough. Who knows, it'll be a good game, and sold-out months ago since it's Family Weekend I think.

I believe it is family weekend and the place will be packed. Hofstra will have to play well above their heads to win this game. Too many inconsistencies on both sides and specials for us has been an abortion. We won big at SBU, but they just played terrible and couldn't rebound. Either way, it'll be good for our young guys to get down their and experience the atmosphere and level of play that they need to get to week in and week out.
