I just got home from Dover a little while ago and the biggest thing, outside of an instant classic of a race, is Kyle Busch is basically eliminated from the title after two straight poor showings to start the chase. While i do think the chase is a bit of a crock i do believe Buschy would be in either 2nd or 3rd in points under the old format. However, he would be a lot closer then the 250+ points he's behind now.

Kyle needs to talk to Kurt on how to change your preception. Ernie Irvan was a lot like the Busch brothers too. Ernie came from Cali and was an outsider in the sport in the beginning of his career. He was brash and cocky in the same mold as Tim Richmond but after he nearly killed half the field at Talladega he made a heart felt speech before the next race at 'Dega and from then on became one of the most respected and well liked drivers ever.

Woo, but Kevin Harvick moved up 5 spots to 5th with his 8th straight top-10 finish. NICE!

I second that motion...
It was a great race to be at...too bad I had to work but I was able to catch the rest on TV at home. Junior's not looking so good either, he's back in 9th now I believe.
