Tampa Bay defeats Minnesota 7 - 2 to clinch a playoff spot and extends the AL East lead to 2 1/2 games. How about that? What was TB predicted to place in the AL East preseason? The Red Sox lost to Toronto 3 - 6.

Maybe, but not by much and atleast I was on the record giving them respect.

Everyone should pay attention next spring.

Last year I picked Red Sox vs Rox World Series, this year Rays competing.

Could I pick Kansas City next year xeyebrowx

Congrats to Gerry Hunsicker on building a strong team in Tampa. It's nice to see the changing of the guard in the AL East and the fact the Yanks won't make the playoffs. A shame the BoSox will be in the playoffs, because it'd of been nice to see Peter Gammons not have a 'dog' in the race...
