It had unfortunate timing really, because just a month after the flooding in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City stole all the headlines. But AP has an amazing football tradition, so its great to see them back.
If anyone cares, the Falcons are currently 3-0.

yes, such a shame that the media decided to cover people losing their houses and businesses and such over a football team having to rebuild their bleachers.
Not that AP was at all hurting for media attention, even with the floods.

Hey, I'm from CR so I wasn't attempting to lessen what happened there. I'm just saying.
Although I will be the first to say that Cedar Rapids was screwed on national attention. After the water went down in downtown, the media lost its fascination.
