Matsuzaka just plunked Longoria, I dont have video so I dont know if it was intentional or not, but in the second Kazmir tossed one towards Varitek's head.

With his homerun (158th career as a catcher) Jason Varitek passes Carlton Fisk for tops among Red Sox catchers.

Gee Travis...
About the only way this could get any better for you would be if Matsuzaka was on the mound in a Speedo...

Got a correction on Sox magic number for a playoff spot.

Because Chicago has 66 loses and Minnesota 68 with a three game series between the two teams one of them is guaranteed atleast 69 loses on thus cant win any more than 93 games, Boston currently has 89 wins so the magic number would be 5, not 6.

Here's an interesting bit.

MLB lists Boston as a team with an expected w-l of 91-59, meaning they are pretty much winning at the level their stats would suggest.

Tampa Bay on the other hand is over performing a bit from their 82-66 expected w-l.

The Angels are over performing by 10 games.

Travis, where were you tonight? I'm shocked that there was no Rays / Sox commentary...

Was at the store until the bot of the fifth, then I was helping my BFs little brother do his homework, then I was cooking dinner, and then I was eating dinner and then I was testing out a new video game I got today.

Another good game between the two teams though.

Which, for those of you who come to AGS for all your up-to-the-minute Sawks news, means Tampa won

2-1, if you're curious xwhistlex

This is the song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NaCCG7QkM_c&feature=related) one of the local radio shows adopted as a team song.
