What? The Bulldogs couldn't drive in the runner in scoring position? Did Aubie get a double play to stop a rally? When did SEC play fall baseball?

Actually Mississippi State's runs were unearned off of an error by the pitcher. xlolx The Bulldogs never got a runner in scoring position. xlolx

Really what an ugly and boring game.

Tubberville should have squeeze-bunted the runner in in the 8th.

I was at the game. My Bulldogs have no offense whatsover. I can't believe such a great defensive effort was wasted by an inept offense. Not only did the defense take the ball away to set the offense up with good field position three times in the 2nd half, they also forced Auburn into a safety to account for the 2 points. And when we did attempt a field goal, the snap was bad. Looks like it may be another long season for my Bulldogs.

In high school we lost a game 6-2. We were up 2-0 until giving up a TD in the final minute--a 2-0 final would have been ridicilious.

sec football at its best... pound it out on the ground with very stout defense...

All three Auburn-Mississippi State baseball games last spring had higher scores than this snoozefest.

11-4
3-4
12-2

It will be interesting to see if there is more scoring in the Women's Soccer matchup on October 5.

A number of years ago, Harvard beat Dartmouth 6-5 at The Stadium. A good friend's father (Harvard '48), who was a season ticket holder for about 30 years, pronounced it the worst college football game he ever saw.xlolx

3 freaking times.
How in hell can a offense be so sad.
That defense gave the offense 3 tries from the 50 yard line to gane 20 yards for the game winning feild goal.

Those mofo's didn't get 1 damm yard.

Miss State has one of the top defenses in the SEC this year.
The offense ain't crap.
They killing Croom.xsmhx

Does State have another QB besides Wesley Carroll? (I know they do, I'm just asking if they have anyone better xlolx )

Not Really.
They lost a WR recruit after that game Saturday.
The recruit was at the game Saturday and decommitted himself to Mississippi State.

He said his decision was based on them not throwing the ball.
He was being nice cause they couldn't throw, run, or block on offense.

He must not have watched any other Miss. State games over the last 5 years.

It's not that.
They know the so-so image of Mississippi States offense.

These guy's want to play for CROOM but that offense kill's them every year.
Just like the defense, every year these kid's commit to Mississippi State thinking the offense is going to take off.

The defense improves every year but the offense alway's seem to take a step backwards.

This year may take a toll on them if the OC don't do something fast and make it stick.

They have Tyson Lee, but he's about 5-10 and if he can't beat out Carroll then MSU's going to have a long year IMO. Our starter (Brian Babin) was out for the MSU game and our two QBs (Mike Neville and Tyler Beatty) were more athletic than their guys.

Beatty (Baylor transfer) came in and after settling down, was the best QB on the field.

Glad to see we scored more points on Mississippi State than Aubie did xrulesx Course, we have up 31 more points xcoffeex
