Kickoff shortly. Great night for football. Portland State (1-0) comes into UC-Davis (0-2) for the home opener for the Aggies. Game on DirectTV and also on Comcast Sports (Portland). Hubel gets the start. PSU leads the series 6-2, but the teams are even in Davis (1-1). Loss for the Aggies would put them at 0-3 for the first time since 1965. Vikings audio

Once again, I see Portland State has very little defense. I really am having difficulty judging Cal Davis. They are doing well, but I am not sure it is more them or more PSU defense being so pathetic.

Well, I thought for sure davis would be more on top. But I agree that PSU is having a hard time on defense.

That was an amazing return and a huge heads-up play by the Davis defender.

A couple more thoughts: PSU's fullback is a load and a half. #89's a heck of a receiver, too. Reminded me a lot of Davis' Charlie Enos (only taller). Davis O-line did a great job.

Night games at the new stadium are pretty sweet.
