Not sure how this happened, but ULM announced a few hours ago that they will be play Alabama A&M tonight. They threw that one together pretty quickly.

So -- AAMU vs ULM tonight!

ULM Warthogs lead The AAMU Bulldogs 7-3, 10:13 left in the 2Q
This is an historic game for Alabama A&M as it is the first time in the Bulldogs' history they have played against an NCAA Div. I (FBS) team. Both teams are looking for their first win of the season. Alabama A&M dropped its first two games to Tennessee State and Jacksonville State, while ULM fell to Auburn and Arkansas.

Thanks for the updates.

I'm surprised that they could move a game up like that.

ARGH! Warts are 3rd and 10 on AAMU 23 with 40 seconds left and the QB scrambles in for the TD.

AAMU comes back with a long pass completion and the DB "horse collars" the WR down at the 10, 1st and goal after the penalty at the 5. 2 incompletions and the Bulldogs kick the FG.

AAMU trails 21-13 to the Warts at halftime. Stats are about even. Good game.

I know it -- if I worked for that school, I'd be rather aggravated, unless I had advanced warning on Thursday. This was done pretty quickly...does not seem like many people from AAMU are thrilled.

AAMU takes the opening 3Q kickoff and promptly fumbles the ball away at their own four. The defense holds though and the Warts missed the FG!

What is the attendance like? I gotta think that moving a game up would hurt the turnout.

A few SWAC fans were worried that ULM would do what Ark St did to TSU last week (83-10) and hang a lot of points on AAMU due to the short turnaround and late announcement of the game, the head coach not committing to putting his starters in to avoid injury due to SWAC play, etc.

AAMU held their own, not bad...
