Lucked out my arse! The team that makes the fewest mistakes usually wins. The Griz had zero turnovers and led at the end when it mattered. Then Poly made ANOTHER mistake with a bad snap. That's not luck it's mistake free football. Poly lucked out that the fumble into the endzone that our player recovered was called a safety. It was a TD. Amen to that...every Griz fan I know was very humbly expecting a tough game tonight(a likely loss) We are way young...and a loaded CP SLO just beat a team who should have beat Notre dame 7 days later.

Sadly -We have quite a few people in the BSC who just cannot even stand Montana's success no matter what...I have always cheered for EWU when not playing the Griz as I have a lot of friends (including the head coach) in Cheney, but fans like this make me ill.

Woah, woah, WOAH. Define 'you all'. I at no point said CP would win, let alone by 24-30 points. Coming into this game, I thought it would be a tough match-up, and I was slightly rooting for CP (because a weaker Montana is always great for EWU). And my name isn't Charlie. It's Mike, you son of a b*tch! xnodx :p

I have no doubt it will also be a close game in Cheney this year, but EWU has a very special team... our defense is completely revamped... holding a potent Tech offense under 50, and a very powerful Colorado under 100 rushing, while our offense scored 24 on each. Bring it Griz, it will be a whale of a game. xthumbsupx

Bring it Griz, it will be a whale of a game. xthumbsupx

I am not talking any smack about EWU. I appreciate their skill and the great football they bring to the Big Sky. I doubt the Griz in that game too. You just need to learn to respect. That game is a month a way. Just settle down. This is not that thread.

Lots of football to be played before UM vs. EWU. xnodx

Way to go Griz. Hope you kick EWU's a**, as well. They run their mouths non-stop when they come to the dome to lose in the playoffs. Cockiest players I've ever seen on our field. (would probably be the griz if we ever played them here though. ;))

WOO HOO!

What a game, big props to Cal Poly, they're a great team. Montana's coaching staff again proved they're the best at making 2nd half adjustments! Mole & Noble combined didn't rush for 60 yards!

Its funny, last year Montana loses to a good Wofford team in the playoffs by missing a last second fieldgoal, and we got our butts kicked. This year, Montana beats Cal Poly on a missed last-second field goal, and we got lucky. Nice double standard, don't ya think?

And that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Big time props to Montana. Your coaching staff made great second half adjustments. The Griz special teams were special and the Mustang where anything but. Montana is a great program and they showed that again tonight.

I was proud that when Cal Poly got behind by 9 with in the fourth quarter how they did not hang their heads. They drove down and scored, held the Griz and got the ball back and drove down and put themselves in a position to win the game. They came up short in the end, but I was still proud of that last drive, just not the shanked 27 yard FB.

Good luck to Montana the rest of the way and maybe we will see you again in December.

I sure hope not, rematches in the playoffs are definitely not my favorite, especially against you guys. xsmiley_wix

It was a great and hard fought game. Close as many Poly and Griz fans predicted. Charles Burton needs to eat some major crow. Just goes to show he doesn't know a football from a wart on his backside.xsmiley_wix

Yeah yeah yeah. The Griz played a great game, and won a game which could have gone either way. I'm very happy we won, especially since we have purged the team of criminals for the time being.

Kudos to the players. I did not see the game, but they must have played their arses off. The coaches obviously found a way not to lose this game, which is amazing in itself.

It is a very long season. No win is ever as good as it seems, just as no loss is ever as bad as it seems. Wr are 1-0, that is the bottom line.

Have your fun now. I assure you there will be plenty of time for me to point out once again what should be obvious to many, but is not.

You front runners are predictable and nauseating. I am here. But you will disappear when Hauck loses to a team in which he is a big favorite.

Hey, I'll give you props for not disappearing after Bobby won a game in which he was a big underdog (on the road, no less). xthumbsupx

I don't back out on the team I grew up with. Regardless of their record.
