would be VT vs. ECU. ECU made some mistakes in the first half that gave VT the lead early, but their defense kept them in the game and made some key plays that got them the ball back. Easily the best game of the week so far, unless somebody has a better nominee.

Homer alert but one you guys should watch is Washington @ Oregon. A very rare early season rivalry game that has alot of questions surrounding both teams.

That game was also on my list, except I'm rooting for UW. Hopefully I'll be going to the UW games next season (if my next assignment is McChordxthumbsupx ).

I think the Huskies will be unfortunately improved this year - I really have no idea how tonight will turn out. It's been fun watching them crash to the bottom of the Pac 10 the last few years but I don't think it will last long. Congrats on McChord though - much prettier than anywhere in Okie....

You're right. UW is absolutely terrible. Willingham will be gone after this year for sure.

For watchability without a rooting interest... VT and ECU had me entertained.

I watched parts Mizzou-Ill... but watching Juice Williams is like watching that hyperactive kid of Cleveland's on Family Guy...

Tried watching Bama/Clemson... but it was clear that was going to be ugly.

Watched YSU/OSU game... thought YSU showed toughness in holding them to FG's mostly in the first half... that's a bend-not-break quality that could serve them well. Big Ten Network did some okayish coverage of the Mo. Valley, talking about NDSU, SDSU, UNI, etc were giving FBS teams fits.

The Minn/NIU game was interesting watching, what with the last second TD for the still uninspiring Gophers... and watching Jerry Kill get so much out of a so-so Huskie team.
