DuckDuck...I'm planning on making a trip out to Montana/Idaho next fall (I know, long time away) and I definitely want to see a UM game. Is it hard form out-of-towners to get tix? What do I need to do? I assume once they announce the schedule I can buy tix, but I'm not sure.

That Montana stadium is just awesome, friggin awesome!!

The field, the stands, the mountain, nothing better in I-AA, IMO. And I've never even been there! lol

bandl,

You can usually get tickets from people selling them at the game. If you want to make sure you have them before you come out, go over to egriz.com and go to the section Griz Tickets. It will have every game listed and you can post that you are looking for tickets and ususally there is someone you can hook up with to get them. There is always the school's ticket office.

Thanks putter. Since i'll be flying/driving in from the Wash DC area, I definitely want to line up tix before I even buy a plane ticket! Do they sell out in 1.2 seconds like the big I-A schools do?

It's one of my missions in life to see as many 'big' school stadiums as possible, simply because of the great games and atmosphere involved. I-A or I-AA or DII or DIII all have something to offer, in different ways, and I've seen them all. I've pretty much exhausted all of the East Coast (at least the schools that I care to see)...so now it's time to start conquering the west!!

No, they usually don't sell out in 1.2 seconds but the 17,000 season tickets will be gone but I don't think you should have a problem. If you know when you want to come out and you start a couple of weeks in advance you shouldn't have a problem.

If we are talking 2006 I think over the summer you can call the ticket office or get the tickets online at www.griztix.com -- I am not sure when officially they start selling the tickets but if you pay attention and check the closer summer gets you'll be fine. When next fall are you thinking of going?
