I agree, death at an early age seems to be getting more and more common.

I lived in Portland in the twilight of his career. Even when his steps were beginning to slow and his shots were not falling as they had in the past he still was one of the most humble and kindest men I ever met. Never a harsh word for the fans and always a thank you or your welcome when you said good game.

Godspeed Duck, enjoy the world beyond the horizon.
