What's the talk in Chicago and Illinois about the Jermaine Dye. Is the thought up there that he was hit by pitch or did the ball hit the bat?

no it hit the bat...But in live speed, no one knew it hit the bat except Garner...Dye even said it hit his bat...Talk here is more of Konerko Slam and Pods 2nd HR of the postseason...My thoughts...The ball hit Dyes bat...Pettitte's pickoff was a balk...the strikezone shrunk in the last 2 innings...Astros showed great poise getting 2 off Jenks...Lidge did nothing wrong, he just got beat tonight!!! My theory is you dont bring your closer in unless its a save situation...their focus isnt as sharp!!! With Garland, Garcia, and Contreras coming up in Houston, its hard to imagine we will come back down 3-2 especially being the best road team in baseball and 4-0 in the postseason! But so IMO a great Series so far

There is talk on the radio also about how Berkman faked getting hit in the head last yr vs the Cubs, so those arrogant guys are saying Chicago finally got payback...I dont agree with that, just thought it was funny...I hate the Cubs...

I fully agree that the Sox are in much better shape going to Houston up 2-0 than tied 1-1, especially when the Astro crowd will be pumped up for Oswalt tomorrow night. A loss last night after that two-out Vizcaino hit off Jenks could have been deflating for the Sox, but they bounced right back. Looks like Lidge was haunted by the Ghost of Poo-Holes!
