The 6-1, 220 lb signal caller from Anselmo, Calif., threw for 2,737 yards and rushed for 714 more last year, leading Archbishop Riordan to an 8-3-1 record. He completed 53.1% of his passes (164-of-309) with a 25-to-9 touchdown-to-interception ratio. He also logged 50 total tackles with 1.5 sacks as a linebacker.

2007 -- Started the first two games as well as the final eight contests, missing three games due to injury ... rushed for 424 yards and three touchdowns, averaging 7.7 yards per carry ... also caught five passes for 118 yards and two more scores ... best rushing game was for 112 yards on just 12 carries against South Dakota State ... named Great West offensive player of the week after rushing for 92 yards and one TD and catching three passes for 64 yards and another score against UC Davis ... also caught a TD pass in Iona contest ... returned 13 kickoffs for a 19.4 average, including a long of 39 yards against North Dakota State.
2006 -- Redshirt ... attended Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria and obtained his AA degree.
Sacramento State -- Played his first two college seasons (2004, 2005) at Sacramento State ... as a freshman, rushed for 858 yards and five touchdowns and caught six passes for 37 yards, earning co-Big Sky Conference Newcomer of the Year and honorable mention All-Big Sky and freshman All-America honors ... set career highs with 35 carries for 245 yards against Montana State ... as a sophomore, rushed for 768 yards and two scores and caught 17 passes for 176 yards en route to second-team All-Big Sky and team offensive MVP honors.
High School -- A standout running back at Righetti High School in Santa Maria in 2002 and 2003 ... as a senior, rushed for 1,136 yards and 11 touchdowns despite breaking his collar bone and playing just four games ... amassed 350 yards and four touchdowns on just 15 carries against Ayala in the season opener ... also had 17 catches for 300 yards and four scores ... played in the CaliFlorida All-Star Game, the Santa Barbara County All-Star Game and earned All-Pac 5, All-CIF-Southern Section and All-Area honors ... as a junior, rushed for over 1,500 yards, caught passes for 500 yards and set school record with 22 TDs ... recruited by Northern Arizona and San Jose State before signing a national letter of intent with Sacramento State in February 2004.
