If you get a chance...read all of Frank Dell 'Appa's articles. Writes for everyone including ESPN Soccernet. Very knowledgeable.
Real nice guy...I have my Saturday and Sunday espressos with him and the other soccer lovers here in the N. End at Cafe Paradiso.

As I type it...look what just happened. Everton should have taken the lead on that header...and then the free kick by B'Burn wins it with no time...wow.

Though against Fulham, a win for Hull will be very impressive.

1-Nil to the Arsenal xsmileyclapx xsmileyclapx xsmileyclapx
3 points on Opening Day. Good start against West Brom, but they'll clearly need to improve as the season goes along. Worth noting that Toure, Eduardo, Rosicky, van Persie and Fabregas all missed the match with injury
Fulham in the Cottage next weekend, then Twente at home to seal a birth in the Champions League group. Would love to see another fast start to the season xnodx

Chelsea 4 - 0 Portsmouth - a very expected outcome
Aston Villa 4 - 2 Man City - Expected but I'm sure Man City was looking to do better
Man Utd 1 - 1 Newcastle at halftime

Newcastle getting a point at Old Trafford is a small miracle. Now if they get a point at Arsenal on the 30th, then the whole month of August would have been a miracle for them.

Liverpool's gray kits were quite possibly the ugliest of the weekends although Man City gave em a run for it.
