Jax State - 33
Tenn. State - 3

Clay Green rolled up 125 yards rushing and another 25 on returns, plus two TDs. He becomes the first back in JSU history to get five consecutive games with over 100 yards. Senior QB Maurice Mullins was 12 of 17 for 139 yards and a TD. After an 0-3 start to the year JSU is back to .500 at 4-4.

EKU squeaked by SEMO 33-32, and Eastern Illinois survived Murray State 35-28, so the OVC is a long way from decided. JSU's regular season ends with current conference leader Eastern Illinois visiting Paul Snow Stadium Nov. 19.

In other action, Samford handed UT-Martin its second straight loss, 30-22.

Well, first we'll have to handle Tech. I don't care what your record is, that game's always close (see last year).

EIU's loss to Illinois St doesn't look as bad now as it did a month ago.
