Please vote on these videos....5 is the best rating on a video....The more web traffic I can get on these videos, the stronger my case is to add more FCS content on the site....MVSU will be added later today.....There will be more FCS coverage on ESPN coming very soon.....

Saw on TSPN that you posted this, "Please vote on these videos....5 is the best rating on a video....The more web traffic I can get on these videos, the stronger my case becomes to add more HBCU content on the site....And most importantly, the more opportunity I will have to cover HBCU sports....MVSU hasn't been posted yet, but should by late Tuesday...Thanks in advance.."

By supporting this, I understand that the HBCUs will get some help in getting their content out there -- but is this seriously going to help the rest of the FCS community get coverage?

Nothing against the SWAC, but it seems like your tailored your message to try to get us to support your initiative. I'm just curious if this will help broaden the FCS coverage on ESPN on the whole...

HBCU coverage also entails schools not in Division I -- but I was wondering what this individual was doing in terms of helping coverage outside of the HBCUs for FCS.

He obviously promoted two different messages -- one for HBCUs on TSPN and one for FCS on AGS. We all want to promote FCS coverage -- no joke there by any means -- but is this really just an effort for HBCU promotion or will his efforts be for all of FCS?

Now where have I seen this strategy before? xcoffeex

No surprise...

Why can't I ask a serious question?

I went and viewed three or four of the videos. I'm doing what I can to support his efforts -- but I am curious to as if this is helping increase the publicity of the FCS HBCUs or will it actually increase FCS coverage across the board?

The HBCUs got that contract with ESPN and it's of no surprise that ESPN is giving them a 'nod' -- but we'd all like to see more FCS coverage across the board besides just running on that bottom ticker. I was curious if our efforts in supporting this gentleman would do that...

Only one way to find out TT, just ask him. Hopefully he'll return to respond to your inquiry.

I think you're reading more into his words than what was originally intended. He's speaking to very unique audiences between both sites. xreadx

Which is what I did. I know some people are afraid to ask questions and speak up, but we all know that's not what I do...

He is speaking to two different audiences, but I am confused based on that message on whether or not this will benefit non-HBCUs as well in terms of increased coverage. And HBCUs also includes non-Division I schools. And will we see the MEAC?

There will be a increase in coverage of FCS football as well..I would like to thank everyone for their support....I'm currently in the process of addressing the MEAC...I just hope that everyone can be patient with the process....I will give you a tip, I would start paying a little more attention to espn radio real soon....

Anything to improve the coverage of FCS is a good thing. I'm hoping that many of the ventures that conferences and schools are taking to improve coverage (i.e Southland TV, Liberty's TV deal, etc) will only help coverage.

It's great to build coverage locally and regionally. Nationally is a big step, but I am liking what I am seeing. Got to take advantage of resources available and hopefully CollegeSportingNews is part of that.
