Nothing surprising, as both teams return a host of All-Ivy players on both sides of the ball (Harvard returns both QBs and Yale returns McLeod).

NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- With 15 starters returning from last year's squad that went 7-3 overall, Harvard's football team was ranked third in the 2007 Ivy League preseason media poll, released Monday as part of the league's annual football media day.

Yale, which shared the Ivy championship with Princeton in 2006, was the runaway favorite to repeat as the Bulldogs earned 14 of a possible 16 first-place votes and 125 points. Penn was tabbed for second with 102 points and one first-place vote, followed by Harvard, which claimed the other first-place vote and 95 points.

Hmmm... the article on Harvard's website is a bit inaccurate in the number of votes and points. It is actually:

2008 Ivy League Football Preseason Media Poll
1. Harvard (8), 124 points
1. Yale (8), 124
3. Brown, 99
4. Penn (1), 85
5. Princeton, 58
6. Cornell, 54
7. Dartmouth, 47
8. Columbia, 21

That's because it's last year's article!xrolleyesx Harvard's football website is notoriously "behind," but this is ridiculous. Harvard doesn't even post future schedules (unless you count the ones buried on page 44 of the '08 media guide).

Harvard doesn't even post future schedules.

But the future schedules are posted in the media guide, up to 2012.

Yeah, but other Ivy sites have them right on a link. Harvard shouldn't make us work so hard.xcoolx

Brown's are only in the media guide.

I still think it wouldn't hurt to make access easier. Last year, the "pulldown" season window on Harvard's "Schedules" link accommodated future seasons, but they were all blank. Now, you can't even do that.

Looks like we have to waste our Friday night game on Holy Cross this year!xrolleyesx :p

I agree that the website should have a page for future schedules. I was just pointing out that Harvard's website is just as bad as everyone else's.

Sigh...sounds about right. They could be good for a nice win or two, though. I think they are looking at 5-5.
