They've had the "eye of the Tiger" at midfield since the mid 80's after Rocky III came out...don't recall the exact year...they went away from it for a while and came back to it when Saban was hired.

I think the LSU 'eye of the tiger' graphic a mid-field is excellent. Best one in the country.

Didn't VaTech do that last year? Also don't come on the field before the band is done. (Auburn '01, funniest thing I ever saw)

Tried to find that footage on YouTube but no luck. xprost2x to the one who can find it.

I was at the Auburn game in '01, in the south endzone, when Duvall (or whatever his name was) came out to warmup while the band was still playing...as they were coming off the field, Duvall wouldn't move and one of the Tuba's lowered his shoulder to knock him out of the way...one of greatest non game action moments I've ever witnessed.

I was there, I laughed for a long time. I had a friend who played at Auburn and his family laughed at it too.

To me, LSU's Eye of the Tiger is the best midfield identifier with it's program in college football.

Hope my school decides to even have one next rug change.
