Yeah, this news hit me kind of hard.

Maybe since I grew up with him, I see him as the personality I want calling baseball games. His harsher tone mixed very well with the softer tone of Pete Van Wieren.

I have not been a Braves fans (especially after the Dodgers choked in 1991), and still are not to this day, but I will definitely miss Skip's "Braves Win, Braves Win" after each victory.
