SWAC Conference Schedule counters???

SWAC mandated 7 game conference schedule this year.
Yet some schools have 8 or 9 SWAC opponents.

???Are any of these crossover games non-counting ? Which ones??

Can't find any info online, so anyone have the lowdown?

There are two weeks end of September with crossovers which,
if aren't counted, brings everyone to 7 games, but leaves a
few teams with many more home than away.

Yep -- don't count for conference play. Fans from the schools can tell you which ones don't count. There's not a particular weekend either when these take place because the SWAC has a few conference games that take place in the typical OOC season (see TxSo vs PVA&M in the Labor Day Classic).

The SWAC made the decision too late to drop the mandate and some of these schools really had problems filling the holes. In other cases, maintaining certain opponents on the schedule were too important to the bottom line...

For Southern the Mississippi Valley game is considered non conference. I can't speak for the other schools.
