High School - Jackson teamed with fellow Mustang recruit Thomas Reynolds for over 1,800 yards rushing in 2007, leading Archbishop Mitty to a 7-4 overall record (3-3 West Catholic Athletic League) under head coach Matt Haniger. Jackson, rated by Scout.com as the No. 4 high school fullback in the state and No. 30 in the nation by ESPN Insider, netted 729 yards and scored seven touchdowns for the Monarchs last fall, including 178 yards on just six carries against Soquel. He earned first-team All-WCAL honors as a running back, second-team All-San Jose Mercury News as a linebacker and was honorable mention All-Metro as a linebacker as chosen by the San Francisco Chronicle. As a junior in 2006, Jackson rushed for 853 yards and 11 touchdowns, averaging 5.7 yards per carry and earning first-team all-WCAL honors, as Mitty again posted 7-4 overall and 3-3 league marks, this time under head coach Dave Brown. Jackson has been selected to play in the 2008 Silicon Valley Youth Classic on July 23 at Spartan Stadium.
