Which was worse...???
Penn St... scoring what appeared to be the winning TD in final minute... only to have Michigan throw a TD pass with one second left... to win on the last play of the game.
or
Notre Dame... leading USC in the final minute... only to have USC score the winning TD on a surprise QB sneak with 3 seconds left after it had originally appeared that time had run out.

IMO, Penn State was worse. Because there goes their undefeated season and first place in the Big 10.

Pet Peeve time. It's "lose", not "loose". Sorry, I've been letting that go for months (since the last time I pointed it out), but this time it's actually in a thread title, I had to say something. I couldn't help myself. :o :o :)

What? Were you watching the game? They should have put about 6 seconds back on the clock when they only put on 2. But for once Lloyd Carr got his way the officials & it helped my boys win the game!!!! Take that Lloyd Carr haters!!!

oh please! do you remember the play BEFORE Lloyd started whining about that guy being out of bounds and then getting his 2 critical seconds back? It was the guy with his heal clearly on the line that was ruled in bounds ... and there was no review.

Yup, there should have been no time on the clock for the last play.

None of the above.
The answer is Minnesota losing to Wisconsin on a blocked punt in the endzone with 30 seconds left in the game.

I'd have to say the Notre Dame game, because it's always tougher on a home crowd to lose a close one like that.

I agree Baldy and 89Hen, it was a terrible way to "loose".
