You beat me to it.

Been following the Rangers since I was a kid when their line-up had Pudge, Juan-gone, Dean Palmer, and Will Clark. Had a pretty good rotation too with Aaron Sele, Rick Helling, Bobby Witt, Kenny Rogers at different times.

Haven't been this excited about a line-up in a long time. If we could get a solid starter and a 1st baseman, we'd be pretty nasty.

But for now, Hamilton is a sight to see

Chris Davis has the potential. But we need pitching.....bad.

I know, Daniels hasn't done that bad of a job as GM, especially when I thought there was no way we would have anything close to a decent outfield when we lost out on Tori Hunter. All he need needs to do is get us some pitching.

I got Rogers' autograph the year he pitched his perfect game, lived in north Dallas as a kid.

Josh Hamilton just gave a preview to his next employers: Cue up the race between the Yanks and the Sox.

it was such a great line up in the 90s. im enjoying watching them this year, its the first time in a while i don't have to cringe.

NO!!! We cannot afford to give him up. We have given up way to much talent in the past.

You have no pitching. It doesn't matter what your bats do.

A big pat on the back to JH. I missed the HRD, I suffered through it last year. There is just too many commercials. It takes too long. I BBQ'ed tonight instead.

I am not a big MLB fan. But if I could have traded watching the HRD tonight for eating the steak I just had, I would still pick the steak.

What a HR derby. What's even better is our our annual HR derby drinking game. After every HR take a shot of beer, money balls are worth two shots.

Honestly, I don't think he will walk (as long as the Rangers keep their core players together). Hamilton isn't the kind of guy to go chasing money, he is a guy who is going to play where he feels comfortable. I don't think he would like the pressure of playing in New York or Boston. Texas is a good fit for him and I think he stays.

You guys picked up a solid power hitting first baseman in the first round. Justin Smoak will be in the starting lineup in a couple of years.

As a baseball fan, I hope he stays with Texas forever.

But if he's going to go anywhere, obviously I'd love to see him play for the Yankees.

I think they'll find a way to lock him up.....remember this isn't five years ago when there were only a few teams in the mix for high-priced guys, almost every team has money now.

That swing is sweet music. I actually called my son (another sweet-swingin' lefty) into the room JUST to watch Hamilton hit. xnodx xnodx xnodx xnodx

My buddy (Cubs fan) and I watched the highlights last night on SportsCenter and thought how nasty the Cubs lineup would be with Hamilton still on the team. I asked who he would replace in the outfield, to which he replied "it doesn't matter." xlolx

It was great to see Hamilton play for the Charleston Riverdogs years ago. That was before his troubles and he was awesome then. I am glad to see he turned his career---and more importantly--- his life around.

This is why there needs to be a salary cap. It would stop teams like the bosox and yanks from being able to buy everybody up.

I was a big Josh Hamilton fan when he was in the Rays org. and having his troubles. I'm thrilled to see him doing so well (though I wish he was still in town :( )

I said the same thing as he ran onto the field.
