Yes, better call the newspapers - SN may have messed up who was ranked #36 and who was ranked #42. Big story.

Just goes to show the fans know more than the sports writers. While not a lot of differences, AGS is better. Cal Poly at #2 is more reasonable. Hampton should be lower. Closer to where they are in AGS. At the very least Coastal and ASU need to switch places in TSN.

Gotta love it. Furman is #2 (don;t doubt that part) ranked 13 places above the team they beat in the last seconds by a FG.
ASU beats the "Shontaclears" 30-3 and they get ranked above.
Just glad they don't somehow compute this thing into the numbers on the scoreboard.

Cal Poly's game this weekend against Montana in Missoula will show if they are a top 5 team or not. Poly is 0-9 against the Griz. The Griz are going to come out to prove they are still a top 10 team after a tough loss to EWU. This game is huge for Cal Poly.

Agreed. If you think the politics in the AGS poll is bad, this makes for a poor example of "experts".

How anyone votes CCU above App.St. is hilarious. I have App.St. MUCH higher.

And Delaware ?? Now thats funny, I don't care who you are !!

Politics. And you thought it was bad in D.C. :D

Who the F is putting Delaware in the top 25? They need to have their vote revoked.

They probably were confusing UD with DSU- the I-AA team in Delaware with the most D-I wins and higher Sagarin SOS. ;)

Ouch, say it ain't so! I put more faith in this board than the TSN as most people here have an open mind about other teams for the most part. YSU finally gets out of the dolldrums and you should be ranked much higher? I think TSN has you too low but AGS has it right :D . Plus, you got a #1 vote?? :eyebrow:

The "nice" thing about the "confusion " about YSU is this -- YSU leads many of the GFC stats in D.We lead in Red Zone D, one of many. We are a solid D team. The kicker has a Pro leg. Good field position. No one on here is talking about YSU having a "flashy" O. We don't. Its decent & soild WHEN needed.

The old saying --O sells tickets, but D wins championships -- applies.

We will continue to beat teams with D, a kicking game and a blue collar O.

Oh wait. That was the formula for the Championship years . :D

Many of the people on this board are the voters. Reading the posts, it's true they have a fairly open mind..about some other teams, but not their own.

I think the majority have an open mind about their own team.
