Another classic Tampa Bay slide.
This is what I've been scared of. We now get to see what the Rays are made of. Nothing's went right during this losing streak.

The Yankees, as usual, will win the division.

The Yankees will certainly be a factor...

What the Yankees need:
1) They will need David Ortiz to slump when he returns
2) They will need solid pitching to make a run
3) No key injuries down the stretch
4) They will need to have a solid winning record against the Red Sox and Rays...

if all goes well... they have a great shot at it

That's what you call "all is well" in Red Sox Nation?

Then again, you guys are a bunch of Neil Diamond fans.

I'm wondering what kind of say Toronto is going to have when this all shakes out. They could make a run if they were to get a bat.

Maybe this will be like USF last season, hot start, hit a lull, and rebound strong. As long as there isn't a post-season blasting like in the Sun Bowl. xlolx

I wouldnt expect a strong finish if I were you, 17 of their final 24 games are on the road.

This is the test this team needs, I think they can only get better through this situation.

To be fair, your side of the deal should be Sox win the division.

If Tampa wins, no blood. xnodx

If both teams won the rest of their games, and split there series (assuming even number), the Rays win the division. xeyebrowx

The Rays are a good young team...I predict they will hold on for the wild-card in the AL...xthumbsupx

OK, Yankees win division, you win...
Red Sox win division, I win...

Anyone else wins division...no joy...

Payout TBD...let's set a date on that...say, August 1st...

I'm open to suggestions...I'll have one or two soon...:p

They've won it 10 times in the past 12 years. That makes the Yankees the "usual" champion.xnodx
