He just won back to back races on back to back nights. He won the Nationwide race last night and just won the Sprint cup race tonight.

Well thanks to NASCAR, all his success to date this season means jack squat when they reset the points for the last ten races. One or two races out of the last ten with a little bad luck and he can kiss the championship goodbye.

Btw, I am NOT a fan of the shootout format.

First off----UNH I figured you would be the first to post.

Second- For every win a driver gets he gets a bonus 10 points in the chase races. That can mean a lot of extra points. Just saying. I just wish he was not driving a Toyota.

I am not a fan of the shootout either but it does fix the problem that the Nationwide series had last year with Carl Edwards. He was up by over 800 points at one time during the season.

The chase is just a dumb dumb idea especially given the tracks that are included in it.

I really wish NASCAR would let the Nationwide Series get back to it's roots so the series can once again get its identity back. It's become a complete joke.
