Damn SOB won again tonight this time passing J.J on the last lap. I'm really getting sick of him winning every freakin race.

Hey, he's good. What can you do?

Hey, he's good. What can you do?

He's good but he's also in rediculous equipment. Jimmy screwed up by lagging the restart. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if the Cuppers would finally stop buschwhacking but that's a whole nother topic.

He is beginning to look a lot like Rickey Bobby, or more like Dale Sr. He wants to win, and win he does. It doesn't matter what he is driving he seems like he has the right stuff. But a bunch of respect goes to his pit crew. Tonight and last night they consistantly were flawless and gave him every chance to win.

If I were one of his sponsors he could look like Howdy Doodie, as long as he was winning races. He also looks like he is having a great time driving everything with 4 wheels.

One quick one UNH. Did you not like Dale Sr? No disrespect intended... maybe not the correct word. I am not very good with that. Just wondering because he didn't make many friends on the track with some of his actions either.

The one thing about Sr. was he didn't have the best equipment nor the richest owners. He litterally won on sheer determination. His drive to win is probably one best ever in all of sports, in the same league as Tiger Woods and Michael Jordan.

I don't follow NASCAR much, but I do have a question. Whats the edge that Busch has found??? Is it because of the COT??? My NASCAR buddies say its because he has the money to find the edge. I don't get it. You would think that the top dogs would have figured it out by now and things would have evened out a bit.

Gibbs Racing is not one of the richest car owners. Hendrick is probably the richest. I think, and this is just me thinking, KB just wants to rub Rick Hendrick's face in his exhaust every race for cutting him in favor of Dale Jr. KB just wants to win every race he is in and I think he is beginning to run away with the points lead. He will probably win this season running away.

Gibbs, Hendrick and Rousch are all on equal footing. Gibbs has the full backing of Toyota, Hendrick Chevy and Rousch Ford. I'm not sure if Evernham stills get full backing for Dodge or not. Even so he doesn't have resources as the above 3. The biggest thing about Gibbs is his leadership/people skills. He just knows how to run a team.

I hated Dale Sr as a driver, but the hatred for Dale was on track only, I hate Busch as a human too xlolx xlolx

I agree thats his driving force, though he did it to himself by being a scumbag. The day he left the track while his crew was fixing his car was the day his career at Hendrick was over. If he wasnt such a dip**** he would probablt still be in the #5 and Mears woulda been gone a year sooner.

No, Evernham does not get full backing from Dodge anymore. That is why Kasey Kahne and Elliot Sadler have new sponsors this year and why it's no longer Evernham Motorsports but Gillette Evernham Motorsports.

On a sad note. 15 years ago today we lost one of the greats Davey Allison when he crashed his helicopter in the Talladega infield. I really believe had Davey Allison, Tim Richmond, Alan Kulwicki, and Ernie Irvan not been struck with tragedy Sr. would not have 7 titles and Gordon 4.

So you hate aggressive drivers?? Last time I checked, that is the way one wins races. Not all of them, but a lot of them.

You can bet the mortgage that Gibbs has more money than any other team. Why do you think Gibbs left Chevy? Toyota has some VERY VERY deep pockets.

This is just like Jeff Gordon 1995-98. Young kid that you either loved or hated. Either way, he won and won and won. He won 40 races in those four years. The long-time fans did not like him... still don't. I admit, I didn't really like NASCAR as much as I do until he came along. Busch will bring a bunch of fans into the Cup. Now I consider myself a longer-time (not long) fan and I don't like Busch. :p

Yes that's the elephant in the room. Toyota is dumping more money into Gibbs Racing than any other manufacturer is dumping into any other team. Toyota doesn't do anything half-hearted.

I was one of those that HATED both the Busch bros up until this year (only two cars I hate(d) more are the 24 and 48), and was not excited at all to see him come over to JGR since I'm a huge 20 fan. I do have to admit though that Kyle is starting to grow on me a little since it seems that his attitude has changed drastically since coming over.

I'm still not sure whether or not Toyota's money is what's making the big difference for JGR this year or not. In the Nationwide series is certainly looks that way since they're running away from everyone, including the other Toyota teams, but in cup. If that was the case I'd have to think that Tony would have a couple wins scattered in there this year too if it was the case.

Then again I've had a feeling all year that with the move away from GM Tony would have an off year since he is such a huge Chevy guy, and then with him starting his own team to get back there, and his historically slow first half's it kind of fits.

The other thing that i think worked against Jeff was fans seemed more passionate about their favorites back then. I think people who rooted for Jarrett, Sr., Martin, Elliott, Rudd, Rusty, T. & B. Labonte, Irvan, etc. savored rivalries more than they do now.
