Heh, I agree with MplsBison - Maine probably could use field turf.

If only I was within 500 miles of this thing I could guarantee that somebody would sneak in and somehow put "GO BISON!" on their field in a non-destructive, environmentally friendly way, of course.

BTW, are they having a drought in Maine? Looks awfully dry.

No drought, but I believe summer rainfall might be a bit below normal. You're looking at a dirt surface that's been covered by AstroTurf for 10-plus years.

For some reason the camera that they are using makes all the green look brown. xconfusedx It's weird because the sky still looks blue. Hmmm.....

I think everybody, not just mpls, enjoys it when teams upgrade from painted concrete to fieldturf! Also, I feel weird watching other people work in real-time from hundreds of miles away.

The track could easily be ripped out without affecting the stadium..... just move the field closer to the home stands.... the visitor stands could easily be replaced. xlolx

I'm really glad the athletic department jazzed up the turf this time around. The stuff we had to look at the last 10 years was about the most boring surface imaginable. This looks pretty sharp with the blue end zones and block "M". I wonder if the end zones will have inlays that say "Maine" or "Black Bears" or something?
