The Cardinals signed seventh-round draft pick Brandon Keith to a three-year contract on Wednesday.
Keith becomes the third member of Arizona’s 2008 draftees to sign a contract, joining fourth-round pick, defensive lineman Kenny Iwebema, and running back Tim Hightower (fifth round).
Keith, a 6-foot-5, 343-pound offensive tackle from Northern Iowa, earned All-Gateway Conference first-team and Associated Press third-team All-America honors as a senior. He began his college career at Oklahoma before encountering off-field troubles and transferring to Northeastern Oklahoma A&M junior college, followed by two years at Northern Iowa.
Keith’s signing leaves the first three draft choices, cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, defensive end Calais Campbell and receiver Early Doucet, unsigned, along with sixth-round selection Chris Harrington.
The Cardinals report to training camp in Flagstaff on July 24, with the first official team workouts scheduled for July 25.
