Former North Dakota State standout Football center Rob Hunt has signed a free-agent deal with the New Orleans Saints.

Hunt was a 2005 fifth-round draft pick of the Indianapolis Colts. He played last season with the New Orleans VooDoo of the Arena Football league.

This kid is tough. His senior year he broke his hand (the one he snapped with) he just shrugged it off and snapped with the other hand. He's one tough kid, I hope he makes the most of the shot. Go get em' Rob!!!

I remember when we (Nicholls State) played NDSU and when I was researching the team, I read about this guy. He was as advertised.

And as a Saints fan, I welcome him to come in and compete for a spot.
