McNeese is 3-1. They have 5 games left. If they manage to win 4 of the next five games, which is very possible, they will be 7-2. Do they deserve a bid to the playoffs with seven wins? (assuming they do not win the conference title)

What does the 1AA playoff rule say? Are you required to win 8?

Good job yesterday McNeese !!! le se le bon ton roulez !!! :D

A 7-2 McNeese team makes the playoffs IMO, I think they lose 2/3 however @ Nicholls, @ Tex St and Home vs NW St

7-2 I would agree, they are in.

It will all depend on the records/oppositon of the other 'bubble' teams. They definitely should be given strong consideration.

Interesting that you predict a loss for us against NW St in our house after the butt kicking you gave them at their place. Buts thats alright, just keep thinking that way ;)

Rules say we must play 10 games. We will only have 9 at seasons end.

IF we win the SLC, the NCAA would have to bend the rules for us.

McNeese will NOT lose to Nichols.

We have totally figured out that Triple Option scheme.

Will NOT lose to NWS at our house (and it will be played in the hole).

We are still too young to beat TxSU IMO though.

Tex St is real good and the game is on the road.

Nicholls is improved and tough at home, they are 2 plays from being 4-1

NW St has talent and appears to be improving,

If McNeese wins 2/3 they're will probably be in, if not they probably won't :)

Do you think Cowboy Stadium will be ready by the time we play you?

Well, then, y'all might have a little conundrum about that. If the law says ya must play 10 games, then, dang it, don't legislate from the bench and bend a rule just because it's the fair or equitable thing ta do! Rules are rules no matter what harshness of impact they may impart. So sayeth Dubya. ;)
(I know this partially belongs on the Lounge thread, but I couldn't help myself :D )

Not lately. We are probably going to have to evict all the Tree Trimming people camping on the tailgate spots next week and reclaim them.

Also, the National Guard tent city on the practice fields will have to go.

There will be a press box, but it might not be in the best of shape.

Got to earn that $12,500 a year for the lease on the 13 private suites and 200 club seats.

Source? I can't find that in either the I-AA Manual or the NCAA Bylaws.
