I'm trying to watch as many games on TV or Internet TV as I can next year. I'll get a couple SFA vs SHSU games on FSN-SW later in the year but I was wondering if the CSTV-XXL is a good purchase and what does everyone do to watch FCS games?

CSTV-XXL did not work for the Bison vs. Cal Poly game last year. (it was supposed to be on) The Bison have all of their home games & a few road games online. (you do have to pay though) I think the MVFC (formally the Gateway) has something like that too. ESPN360.com is also a great site. I think the games on there were posted in another thread somewhere on here.

I used CSTV-XXL last year and I found it to be a mixed bag - like onbison09 said, occasionally games did drop out. However, overall I found it a great resource, and I used that and ESPN360 whenever I could. One beef I have with both is that once the game is over you can't view a "replay".

For you, though, I think Southland has its own internet video feed... Southland TV... you may want to look for that in particular. They had a ton of games available on there, too. As a UCA fan, that may be in your interest.

SouthlandTV will give you access to any home non-televised games in the Southland. I believe all schools in the conference are supposed to be up to standards in making this happen. Quality will vary pending on the school and their capabilities, but you'll have access...you may also get some OOC games on the road when the host school has XOS/JumpTV...

And quite frankly, there's some sites out there where you can get CSTV games for free... ;)

Big South has "The Edge" online game broadcast. It is subscription. Chuck South will be on that 4 or 5 times and on ESPN360 for it's opener with Miami.

I might be wrong and someone please correct me if I am but I THINK (key word is think) that all MVFC home games and other teams that use JumpTV for road games are availabe on the MVFC website. http://www.mvc-sports.com/liveEvents/liveEvents.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=7600 It's not a ton of games but they'll probably add more.

Hey, they show D2 and D3 games.

I am excited because Tarleton will get one our games on CSTV (I mean CBS College Sports) later this fall.

Youngstown State will probably be on the big ten network against Ohio State again.
