I think that it looks great. UTM is finally starting to invest in a strong football program and I hope that it pays off in wins and fan support.

What's the deal with the offset scoreboard? I think EIU has one of those too and man they are goofy.


Are you guys looking to get a videoboard soon?

You guys willing to take 100-120 grand or so guarantee to travel up to Fargo sometime in the future?? It would help with more stadium improvements...:)

What's the seating capacity there, 10Kish?

I believe that the capacity is around 8,000. The largest crowd ever was 8,110 in 1993 vs Tennessee State.

I hope that the scoreboard is the next thing that gets replaced.

The scoreboard needs to be replaced. Guess thats why we have Aburn and South Florida on the schedule ;) lol. Looking forward to seeing the field in August!

Wow.... every time I see beautiful turf like that, I can't help but think that in this case the grass is greener on your side of the fence. Nice! :)

Now I'm off to brood about the Fargodome... 80 yards of FARGODOME text that spans/spams the field and a ridiculous corporate-looking logo right in the center of our turf! I'm surprised we even got to touch the end zones. *cry*

I couldnt agree more. That has been discussed and hopefully the next project.

There were initial plans to go to artificial turf this this year at EKU also...as well as some bleacher replacement. But it sounds like they may hold off a year for fear of it not being ready to host WKU for the last time in a while.

UTM field looks awesome!
