US Sports Academy Director's Cup Rankings

The U.S. Sports Academy Directors' Cup was developed in 1993-94 as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. It is a program that honors institutions maintaining a broad-based program, achieving success in many sports, both men's and women's.

Essentially, it ranks the best overall sports programs in the nation.

It will be years before we crack that list. Not enough women's sports, even though just about every woman at the school is on some kind of an athletic scholly.

By excelling in sports not sponsored by the MVC. Same thing happens with New Hampshire in America East. Example #1 -- Football.

On that PDF, it is only the spring sports listed. There are separate pdfs for fall and winter sports, the three combined make up the total.

Yep, UNH Alum nailed it.

Since UNI has football (MVFC as you know) and wrestling (Western Wrestling Conference) in two different conferences, our national success at both isn't included in the MVC-All Sports.

UNI won both the Gateway (MVFC) last year and have won the Western Wrestling Regional for like 20 straight years or something.
