This has been a big subject in the Pelican State as of late. La Tech's AD made some negative remarks regarding ULM and how they are "higher" than them.
ULM's AD has now fired back and said their school won't schedule La Tech in anything once any current contracts are finished out.
You'd think the two schools would play each other. It's not easy for anyone to get to either school if you require a plane.

Considering both are within 30 minutes of each other and desparately need each other (the game would be sold out in either Monroe or Ruston ... they could even play in Shreveport if needed), especially in football where ULM draws flies and Tech is getting WAC'ed you'd think this was an easy decision.
Guess not.

Looks like the schools are beginning to work through their differences...
Louisiana Tech athletics director and football coach Derek Dooley has apologized to ULM officials for comments he made at a booster function earlier this month.
A day after ULM athletics director Bobby Staub confirmed that he wouldn’t schedule athletic events with Louisiana Tech, Dooley said he met with Staub and football coach Charlie Weatherbie on Friday to clear the air.
