Who wins this one? I am taking Notre Dame in an "upset." Weis has the Fighting Irish rolling and I see them taking this game.

ND will need over 35 points and some turnovers to win this one... their 'D' will be no match for USC's high octane offense. USC 38 ND 21

I'll be rooting hard for the Irish, but I don't think they have the talent to beat SC yet, who will win by 2 tds

I'm a big fan of the BCS being a mess, so I will be rooting for Notre Dame for those purposes (also would love if Texas fell to Colorado to add to some more one-loss teams).
Do think USC will win it though due to their high-scoring offense...

Helluva finish...
Sucks for Notre Dame to feel all the emotions there at the end...

USC keeps falling behind teams and coming back. Oregon, Arizona State, and now ND all had them by the cajones and could not hold on. Guess that's why they are the champs.

Being i die hard ND fan i don't know whether to cry or puke. Fortunately i think i have a lot of company here in PA after what happened to Penn State too. I can't believe ND lost though. All they had to do stop them on 4th down and the game is over and what were the odds of Lienart fumbling and benefiting USC? AHHH!!! :bang:

Weis came closer to beating USC than anyone else this season thus far. He did it with a defense that on paper should not have been able do that well. For that, the guy is a true genius. If Weis can get them to a BCS bowl and win then Notre Dame should sign this guy to a lifetime contract. He just seems to be born to coach this team and it would be a damn shame to see him somewhere else IMO. I don't even like Notre Dame, I can't believe I am saying this crap.
I can't remember watching a better played and coached game of college football.

Not a ND supporter, but great game by them and their coaches, especially Weis. But I ain't ready to annoint him a genious or any other title yet just because they nearly beat USC. They've beat just one team with a winning record, Michigan, and have just one decent team left to play, Tennessee. Let's see success over time.
Ty Willingham was 8-3 in his first year at ND, and had a New Years Bowl game in that year, got crushed by NC State in the bowl game, and two years later he's fired.
Success. Over. Time.
