Apparently with the new dress code set by Commissioner David Stern, NBA players are going to need a little monetary help in getting new threads.

Saw this on CNNSI.com (from the Washington Post) ...
"Nuggets center Marcus Camby, who will earn $9.3 million this season, suggested the NBA provide a stipend to help players pay for their dress clothes." :shakingma :dizzy: :splat: xidiotx

Well, as a Democrat and a liberal, I can understand how these guys might want some help with this. For example, I'm in the Air Force and we do get a clothing allowance. Furthermore, I'm just trying to see if I can make anybody's head explode before I say...WTF!!!!????

one of the many reasons I don't watch the NBA (and rarely watch pro sports in general)

College basketball is much better than the NBA...

I just can't get that excited for an NBA game, unless I'm playing NBA 2K6 on the PS2...
