I was reading the discussions about 1-A/FBS vs 1-AA/FCS teams and it got me to wondering...what are the 1-AA FCS games to watch this year. I mean the potential really good matchups particularly out of conference. You can mention games involving your school or games that dont involve your school.

08/30/08 - ASU vs. LSU
09/20/08 - ASU vs. JMU
Both of these games will be outstanding. They will both be very challenging especially since they are both road games. I am looking forward to both of these very difficult games.

Only 1 OOC game (the other 2 being Duke and NC Central), but those conference games look like damn good matchups to me (on paper, anyway).

McNeese vs UCA Sat 11/22 Conway, Ark. 4 p.m.
Coach Conque is like 25 - 1 at Estes. It's a mirror atmosphere to McNeese's place when the Arkansas public learns that a championship is on the line(see UCA vs. Ark. Tech). UCA is ineligible for the playoffs so this is for all the marbles! (Pending UCA doesn't lose before then..and there are a few teams ready to kick some Bear #$%##) xlolx xlolx

Conference: This game has potential to be a conference game of the year or it could be one of those what if games: Southern vs. Prairie View (October 25) This is the first time in quite some time that these two teams are on an upswing at the same time. Last year's game was a defensive battle and the Panthers are hungry to beat the Jags again.
Another big game is Southern at Jackson State (October 11) The Tigers have beaten the Jags two years in a row, Memorial will be jumping as always.
Out of Conference: Southern vs. Florida A&M (October 18) The Rattlers first trip to Mumford since 2000. I expect a big crowd on the bluff.
These three are games to watch mainly because these are games that I will probably attend. xthumbsupx

Conference:
Harvard at Brown - Brown trying to end the eight game streak, and add playing the reigning Ivy title holders to it.
Yale at Brown - Best running game in the Ivy League vs. the best passing game in the Ivy League (Hopefully this time a hurricane won't come and ruin the game).
Out-of-Conference:
Stony Brook at Brown - Our first meeting against them
Brown at URI - Time to take back the Governor's Cup

If we win 2 out 4 we are in good shape for 2008. All are quality programs with great reputations and great coaching staffs. Of course we have get buy Colgate on 8/30.
