Nope, it isn't Travis Lulay.

It is Tyler Emmert of Carroll College (NAIA).

A lot of the football talk in Montana goes to MSU and UM, but there are plenty of people following Carroll. He is in his 4th year as starter, and has lead the Fighting Saints of Carrol College (Helena, MT) to 3 straight NAIA football titles and are well on their way to a four-peat, an AMAZING feat at any level of any sport.

The record, btw, is completion percentage in a college career with a minimum of 1000 attempts. He should finish his career around 72%.

As a Carroll Alumni I am very proud of what Emmert and the program have done! I hope he gets his shot in the pros like Jon Kitna did.

Let's not forget the best collegiate coach in Montana right now...

You can bet that the minute UM or MSU lose either of their coaches for whatever reason, they will be knocking down Mike Van Diests' door. And the great thing about him is, I think he'd stay at Carroll.

When the Griz lost Glenn, wasn't Van Diest one of the candidates to take over the job? As far as I knew, he rejected the offer.

I believe Van Diest will be more open to the job market once his son graduates from Carroll.
