FAMU AD Situation? NoCo Asst AD?

I was wondering what the situation was and what folks were hearing in Florida about the athletic director post in at Florida A&M. Think the interim AD will get the post? Or will they look outside? And what was Jackson before he became the interim AD a few months ago?

Florida A&M's Sports Information Department released the list of applicants for the school's vacant athletic director position.

FAMU Interim Athletic Director E. Newton Jackson was among the 13 applicants on the list as well as Associate Athletic Director for Compliance Rosalyn Dunlap and Director of Marketing Earl W. Kitchings.

Among the other applicants are Dillard University Athletic Director and women's basketball coach Robin Martin, University of Northern Colorado Associate Athletic Director Linda Spradley and Stillman College Director of Athletics Curtis W. Williams.

FAMU Associate Athletic Director for Marketing Alvin Hollins said Tuesday that the process that will be used to select a permanent athletic director or who would be involved in the process had not been released to him.
