For the past few months, I have been waiting for the NCAA to publish its all-division attendance stats for the 2007 season. They have usually come out in late February or early March, but it's early June now, and I still haven't seen a 2007 version of this:
http://www.ncaa.org/stats/football/attendance/2006/2006_football_attendance.pdf
I know the NCAA recently started a new website, NCAA.com, and I used to get the stats from NCAA.org. I usually like to get a hold of these stats to see how certain D2 and D3 schools that I have interest in are doing attendance wise.
Anyone know why the NCAA hasn't published it yet??

That's just for Division I, doesn't include II or III.

Oh, I guess I didn't read that part.:o
Maybe you could find a Division II board to ask that question.

11th place... not bad
7th in per game average
sadly SU can't add more capacity

Good lord, St Peter's only averaged 810 a game?
St. Peter's was a downbeat story in I-AA football--the school spent very little on it ($225,000), it had only two or three winning seasons since 1965, lost its best head coach to a neighboring high school, and played many games on Friday afternoons because they had to rent a field that high schools got to use on Saturdays. Cochrane Stadium was on a dead end street adjacent to the NJ Turnpike and the oil refinery tanks of that area, so 810 a game was not surprising given its gritty location.
Throw in the school's small footprint (the main campus was one block wide w/o green space) in Jersey City, and it was a tough sell all around.
Yet, this was a team that once traveled to Dolphins Stadium for a guarantee game and was the only team to shut out Florida Atlantic in its I-AA days. Like a lot of MAAC schools, they deserved better.
