I don't doubt that everyone in Viking land is anxious to get back at us for that miraculous comeback overtime win last year. :)

Wow, that is impressive. Lerron Morore of WKU leads the Gateway Conf. in rushing with 681 yards... I thought that was good, avging 134 a game.

Ya, I spoke with one of my Viking friends this morning, and I quote>
"MMMMMMMM...Bobcat, the other white meat....."
He went on to say...
"it's what's for dinner!"

Georgia Southern has two rushers that have 784 & 783 yards after 6 games.
It is safe to say that Jayson Foster & Jermaine Austion will surpass the 1000 yard mark.

Yeah, 350 yards against N Colorado really helps. Also, Rubin went for over 100 yards against both Oregon State and Boise State. We do get a great push from the offensive line. If we only had a QB who could pass the ball.
Speaking of such, I guess we did offer a scholarship to Zebransky, but he was unsure of how much time he would play. He instead walked on at Boise. Also the style of play (more running with Rubin this year and Fuqua the last couple years) did not fit Zebransky too well.

Just when the Sky is happy that the 12 year started Fuqua graduated, you unleash this monster on us!

We had both in the backfield the last two years (at least when Fuqua was healthy). Rubin and Fuqua are good friends and Rubin was hoping to break Fuqua's game rushing record against N Colorado but fell short. Fuqua had I believe 396 against EWU a couple years ago.
Fuqua was a great runner. It was too bad that he could never finish a season after the first year.

Already a 1000? Does PSU ever pass? I would imagine the play action pass is deadly.

You would think play-action would be deadly, but us completing a pass this year is proving to be as difficult as other teams stopping Rubin. Our QB seems to throw the ball too far behind or too far ahead of the receiver. When it is on the money, the receiver drops it.

I would hope so for a team that runs a triple option.
