2006 – Redshirt … expected to back up Ramses Barden at the Z-Back position.

High School -- Accounted for over 1,000 yards in total offense as a senior at Santa Fe High under head coach Jack Mahlstede, rushing 14 times for 230 yards (16.4 average per carry) and catching 29 passes for 794 yards and eight touchdowns … on defense, made 17 tackles, intercepted three passes and recovered one fumble … in 2004 rushed for 137 yards and caught 25 passes for 493 yards and four scores … also notched 27 tackles and intercepted a pair of passes … in both seasons, he was team captain and earned first-team All-Del Rio League receiver of the year, All-Area receiver of the year and All-CIF-Southern Section Division VII honors … led the Chiefs to a 12-1 mark, 5-0 Del Rio League record and a berth in the semifinals of the CIF-Southern Section Division VII playoffs in 2005 … in 2004 Santa Fe went 9-2-1, winning the Del Rio League with a 7-0 mark … two-time winner of Dale Winder Award … also competed in track and field and earned numerous student of the month awards ... made the Principal’s Honor Roll and National Honor Roll for three years.

Personal – Son of Ronald and Lolita Selix … two brothers, Landing and Manning … wants to be a personal trainer in his own sports training facility … watching movies is his hobby … born February 4, 1988, in Norwalk, CA … majors in kinesiology.
