High School -- Kevin recorded 52 tackles, including 16 solo stops, as a senior under head coach Jon Dimalante at Arcadia High School last fall. The Apaches finished fourth in the Pacific League with a 4-3 mark and were 5-6 overall, qualifying for the CIF-Southern Section Central Division playoffs. Hess notched three sacks, five quarterback hurries and a fumble recovery. He was named to the All-Pacific League first team as well as the All-CIF-Southern Section Central Division first team as a defensive lineman.

This one shows a frequent pose for #64. I'm sure #20 wasn't to thrilled. You can see another shirt grab going on in the background. Tech's o-line was in disarray early in the year. Definitely not one of the best offensive fronts we faced last year.
