An impressive feat indeed, but Trinitiy Bible College and Macalester are two of the worst football programs ever assembled. They couldn't have picked a better two teams to play a double-header against

That doesn't surprise me. When I saw the final score of the first game, I figured they were playing cream puffs. I'll bet they'd never schedule St. John Fisher and Ithaca on the same day!

1. Rockford 105, Trinity Bible 0 (Sept. 6, 2003)
The Rockford Regents slowed it down a lot in the second half. They led Trinity 98-0 with six minutes remaining in the third quarter, having already surpassed the Division III scoring record. Trinity, a religious school whose enrollment (307) is about the same as most Top 10 rosters, wasn't fazed by the loss. "It's been the best publicity this school's ever had," said Trinity coach Rusty Bentley. Added offensive lineman Tim Rasmussen, "The big focus was just making sure that we were acting in a way that glorified God."
