Wally DeGree's granddad goes to my church, and he went to my high school. Good kid, quick as lightning.
Played both sides of the ball in high school, made some great tackles. Kind of surprising they have him as a WR, I thought he was a better DB.

Nice to see so many western North Carolinians on that list.
A notable exception being Donovan Richardson from Elizabethtown. Kevin's brother? Wonder if he'll be as good.

If he is a freshman, how can he have an affiliation with Colorado State? Was he redshirted at Colorado State and then transferred?

Donovan King
Player Profile
Class: Senior
Hometown: Altair, Texas
High School: Rice
Height / Weight: 6-2 / 262
Position: DE
Experience: 2L
According to position coach Kyle Tietz, "absolutely the most physical, violent and nasty player and at the same time one of the nicest human beings you will ever meet" ... has been thrown into the mix at the defensive tackle position and played some with the pass rush units at the position ... defensive end may be a little undersized to play inside at tackle but holds up well because of his physical ability ... was featured in a spring issue of The Chronicle of Higher Education as the magazine did an article on the sleep study program at Texas State University.
